2 DAY WILD HIGHLAND ADVENTURE

Once we have *picked you up we will drive you to Perthshire in our 16-seater custom built Mercedes sprinter, taking in exciting sights such as the Forth Bridges, the foothills of the Ochils and then on to the mystical Highlands - which is where your adventure really starts. We will stay just north of Stirling in the area known as Brave Heart country - where legends such as William Wallace, Robert the Bruce and Rob Roy roamed. On arrival at our four star hostel, bunks are allocated, friends made, food eaten, drinks drunk and great first evening is enjoyed by all.

Day Two

It’s any early start to make the most of the day. After a hearty breakfast we will head down to the banks of the River to begin the white water adventure. This is all about team work and getting wet. You will head down some of the fastest waters in the UK. Your experienced guides will help navigate your raft down the 6 to 10 miles of white water dealing rapids that range from grade 2 to grade 5 (grade 6 being the highest). You don’t need previous experience to enjoy this as the guides show you exactly what to do, when to do it and they will keep you safe (safeish) Once you have survived this challenge then it’s a quick stop to grab lunch before embarking on to **Canyoning. Canyoning consists of swimming through rapids, jumping off cliffs into pools, rock scrambling and navigating huge waterfalls!!! This is an ultimate adventure where you have to work both with and against nature. Happily exhausted we will take you back for a hot shower to prepare for an evening of whisky and good food – a perfect way to reflect on your days’ adventures.

Day Three

Plenty to do today – Scotland has superb walking opportunities and we take full advantage. After breakfast we will stretch those muscles with a 2 – 3 hour walk up one of our favourite mountains. The fresh air, the stunning views, the possibility of deer and eagles and the mysticism of this landscape will capture your imaginations and your hearts. With a fond farewell we will then head back to *Edinburgh city centre for approx 5pm – true honorary Scots!

*Pick ups and drop offs can be made from Edinburgh Train station or at Edinburgh Airport (approx 6pm)
Your driver will be a young and enthusiastic local guide with a passion for Scotland, its history and landscape.
**In the colder months we may offer River Bugs or Rafting down the river Orchy which is a full day as an alternative to Canyonning.
